Here's the simple version. Namzaric combines memantine with donepezil, and the donepezil piece works by raising acetylcholine, one of your brain's chemical messengers. Phosphatidylserine is thought to nudge acetylcholine up a little too. So in theory, taking them together could stack those effects and give you a bit more cholinergic activity than you'd get from the medicine alone.

If that happened, you might notice more of donepezil's usual side effects, things like nausea, diarrhea, stomach cramps, a slower heart rate, or trouble sleeping. I want to be honest though: this is mostly theoretical and the supporting evidence is weak. It's not a reason to panic. Just loop in your pharmacist or doctor before adding the supplement so they can keep an eye on how you feel.
