Lofepramine is a tricyclic antidepressant, and along with lifting mood it has anticholinergic effects, meaning it dampens a brain and body chemical called acetylcholine. Phosphatidylserine is thought to do the opposite and gently nudge acetylcholine levels up. So in theory, taking the supplement could work against part of how Lofepramine acts.

I want to be honest that this is mostly a theoretical concern based on limited evidence, not something proven in real people taking this exact pairing. If anything did shift, you might notice the antidepressant feeling slightly less effective, but this is not a strong or well-documented effect. Please don't change your dose on your own. Just mention you'd like to try phosphatidylserine to your doctor or pharmacist first.
