Theoretically, rice bran arabinoxylan compound might interfere with immunosuppressants by stimulating the immune system. In laboratory and human research, rice bran arabinoxylan compound has been shown to stimulate the activity of immune cells.
Some immunosuppressants include azathioprine (Imuran), basiliximab (Simulect), cyclosporine (Neoral, Sandimmune), daclizumab (Zenapax), muromonab-CD3 (OKT3, Orthoclone OKT3), mycophenolate (CellCept), tacrolimus (FK506, Prograf), sirolimus (Rapamune), prednisone (Deltasone, Orasone), corticosteroids (glucocorticoids), and others.

Here's the basic idea with this pairing. Lymphocyte Immune Globulin (Atgam) works by calming down or wiping out certain immune cells, which is exactly what you want when you're preventing organ rejection or treating something like aplastic anemia. Rice Bran Arabinoxylan Compound is sold to do the opposite, to rev up immune activity. So in theory, taking the supplement could push against what Atgam is trying to accomplish and make it work less well.

I want to be honest that this concern is theoretical, based on how each one behaves rather than real cases of people running into trouble. Still, when you're on a medication this serious, I wouldn't gamble on it. Please loop in your transplant team or doctor before adding this supplement so they can make the call.
