Here's the gist: Trandolapril already lowers your blood pressure by relaxing your blood vessels. Some animal studies hint that royal jelly may nudge blood pressure down a little too. If both work in the same direction, the concern is that your pressure could dip more than expected, leaving you feeling dizzy, lightheaded, tired, or even faint when you stand up quickly.

I want to be honest about the strength of this, though. It's theoretical, based on lab and animal work, not strong human studies, so for most people it won't be a big deal. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding royal jelly, and if you notice unusual dizziness, let them know.

About Trandolapril

What Is Trandolapril Used For?

Brand name: Mavik

Trandolapril tablets are used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). They can be used on their own or combined with other blood pressure medicines such as hydrochlorothiazide.

Trandolapril tablets are also used in stable patients who have reduced heart pumping function (left-ventricular systolic dysfunction) or heart failure that developed within the first few days after a heart attack. In Caucasian patients, trandolapril has been shown to lower the risk of cardiovascular death and reduce hospitalizations related to heart failure.
