Vorapaxar falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Sorrel interacts with.

Theoretically, sorrel might cause additive effects and side effects when used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro, sorrel has been shown to inhibit platelet aggregation. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

Here's the situation with sorrel and Vorapaxar (Zontivity). Vorapaxar is a powerful blood thinner that keeps your platelets from clumping together and forming clots. In lab dishes, sorrel has also shown a mild ability to slow platelet clumping. Stacked on top of an antiplatelet drug like this, the worry is that they could nudge each other in the same direction and raise your bleeding risk a bit, things like easier bruising, nosebleeds, or bleeding that takes longer to stop.

I want to be honest, though: this is theoretical and only seen in test tubes, never proven in people. Everyday culinary amounts of sorrel in soups or salads are unlikely to be a real problem. Concentrated supplement doses are where I'd be more cautious. Since Vorapaxar carries its own bleeding warnings, please run any sorrel supplement past your pharmacist or doctor first.

Zontivity (vorapaxar) is used to lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, cardiovascular death, and the need for urgent procedures to open blocked arteries. It is prescribed for people who have already had a heart attack or who have peripheral arterial disease (PAD) — a condition where arteries outside the heart become narrowed or blocked.

Zontivity is not used alone. It is given alongside aspirin and/or clopidogrel as part of a broader antiplatelet treatment plan.
