Finasteride, Tadalafil falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Syrian Rue interacts with.

Theoretically, Syrian rue might increase the levels and clinical effects of drugs metabolized by CYP3A4.
Syrian rue contains beta-carboline alkaloids, including harmine, harmol, and harmane. In vitro research suggests that these beta-carboline alkaloids competitively inhibit CYP3A4 enzymes.

This combo pill pairs finasteride (for prostate symptoms) with tadalafil (which also relaxes blood vessels). Both are cleared by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab studies suggest the alkaloids in Syrian Rue can slow that enzyme down, so in theory your body might clear these drugs more slowly and let their levels creep up.

If that happened, the tadalafil part is most likely to act stronger: think more headache, flushing, stuffy nose, back pain, or dizziness from a bigger drop in blood pressure. Keep in mind this is only a theoretical concern based on test-tube data, not real patient cases. Still, because Syrian Rue is risky on its own, please check with your pharmacist or doctor before mixing the two.
