Here the concern runs the other direction from most interactions. Phendimetrazine doesn't change how your body absorbs thyroid hormone. Instead, taking it alongside thyroid extract is mostly a stacking issue, since both are stimulants in a sense. Phendimetrazine is an appetite suppressant that speeds up your system, and thyroid hormone also revs up your metabolism. Together they can pile on effects like a racing or pounding heartbeat, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, sweating, and higher blood pressure.

The bigger problem with thyroid extract is that its hormone content isn't standardized, so you can't be sure how much you're actually getting. I'd run this combo by your doctor or pharmacist before mixing them, especially if you notice your heart racing.
