Nelfinavir Mesylate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Vitamin E interacts with.

Theoretically, vitamin E might induce metabolism of CYP3A4, possibly reducing the levels CYP3A4 substrates.
Vitamin E appears to bind with the nuclear receptor, pregnane X receptor (PXR), which results in increased expression of CYP3A4. Although the clinical significance of this is not known, use caution when considering concomitant use of vitamin E and other drugs affected by these enzymes.

Here's the idea with vitamin E and your HIV medicine, nelfinavir (Viracept). Nelfinavir is cleared from your body by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. In lab studies, vitamin E may gently nudge that enzyme to work a little faster. If that happens, your body could break down nelfinavir more quickly, which in theory could lower its levels in your blood. With an HIV drug, keeping levels steady matters, because too-low levels could make it less effective at controlling the virus over time.

The important part: this is theoretical, based on how these things behave in the lab, not proven in real patients. Everyday food amounts of vitamin E are very unlikely to be a problem. High-dose supplements are the bigger question. Please don't stop either one. Just check with your pharmacist or HIV doctor before adding a vitamin E supplement so they can keep an eye on things.
