Aldoclor combines two blood pressure medicines: chlorothiazide, a water pill (diuretic), and methyldopa, which relaxes the signals that tighten your blood vessels. The concern here is mostly on paper. In large, concentrated amounts, wild carrot seed oil is thought to have mild heart and blood pressure activity that could theoretically work against your medication, making it a little less effective at keeping your numbers down.

To be clear, this is a theoretical idea based on the plant's chemistry, not from real human studies. If your blood pressure crept up, you might notice headaches or feel less steady. The everyday culinary amount of carrot is not the issue, concentrated seed-oil supplements are. Before adding wild carrot, please check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

Here's the simple version. Wild carrot contains plant oils that may make your skin a little more sensitive to sunlight. Your combo pill, chlorothiazide with methyldopa, can do the same thing on its own (the thiazide water pill, in particular, is known for sun sensitivity). So the worry is that using both together might add up and make you sunburn faster than usual, even on a mildly sunny day.

I want to be honest that this is a theoretical concern based on how these compounds behave, not strong human studies, so don't panic. Wild carrot won't change your blood pressure control or how the medicine works. If you do try it, just be smart in the sun: wear sunscreen, a hat, and watch for unexpected redness. And please run it past your pharmacist or doctor first.
