Acetaminophen, Caffeine, Chlorpheniramine, Hydrocodone, Phenylephrine falls under CNS DEPRESSANTS — the group Zizyphus interacts with.

Theoretically, zizyphus might cause additive sedative effects when taken with CNS depressants.
Some animal research has found that various parts of zizyphus have sedative effects. However, other animal research shows that zizyphus plant extract does not alter sleep parameters when used in combination with pentobarbital.

This combination product, sold as Hycomine Compound, already has two ingredients that can make you drowsy: hydrocodone (an opioid pain reliever) and chlorpheniramine (a sedating antihistamine). Zizyphus has traditionally been used as a calming, sleep-promoting remedy, so the concern here is simply additive sleepiness. Taken together, you might feel more groggy, foggy, or lightheaded than usual, and in higher amounts an opioid plus extra sedation can slow your breathing.

Keep in mind this is a theoretical caution. It comes mostly from animal studies, and some of that research didn't even show a real effect. Eating jujube fruit as food is unlikely to matter much. Still, if you want to try a concentrated zizyphus supplement, check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

Theoretically, zizyphus might decrease the levels and clinical effects of drugs metabolized by CYP1A2.
Animal research shows that zizyphus induces CYP1A2 enzymes. However, this effect has not been reported in humans.

This combination product is a real mix: acetaminophen, caffeine, chlorpheniramine, hydrocodone, and phenylephrine. The piece that touches Zizyphus here is mainly the caffeine, which your liver clears using an enzyme called CYP1A2. In animal studies, Zizyphus seemed to speed that enzyme up, which would clear caffeine faster and could make it feel a little less effective. Honestly, that's not a big concern for caffeine.

The important caveat: this is only lab and animal data, never shown in people, so I wouldn't lose sleep over it. The bigger watch-points with this medicine are the hydrocodone (drowsiness) and chlorpheniramine (also drowsy), and Zizyphus is itself calming. Please check with your pharmacist about that added sleepiness.
