What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking ActivFulvic against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

What’s inside
Full disclosure
ActivFulvic is a liquid supplement containing one active ingredient: fulvic acid, a compound formed from the breakdown and combination of organic matter in soil. The product also contains sorbic acid as a preservative.
Does it work?
Not established
The evidence we hold doesn't establish how well fulvic acid works. We have insufficient reliable evidence to rate it for respiratory tract infections, lead toxicity, eczema (atopic dermatitis), fatigue, or allergic rhinitis (hay fever).
That means there isn't enough quality research yet to say whether it's effective for these uses.
How safe is it?
Some data gaps
Short-term use of fulvic acid appears generally well tolerated when taken by mouth, though high-quality safety data in humans is limited. The most common side effects reported in trials were diarrhea, headache, and sore throat; a small number of trial participants experienced these.
Rarely, a serious bone condition called Kashin-Beck disease has been reported with oral use, though this is uncommon. Do not use this product during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
There isn't enough safety information to know either way, and the facts advise against it.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Double-check this product if you take blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (like warfarin or aspirin), thyroid hormone therapy, or immunosuppressant medications. These are Moderate severity interactions documented in our data.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with no established evidence rating for its marketed use. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and some safety-information gaps remain.
ActivFulvic might interest you if you're exploring fulvic acid for general wellness, but the evidence for its effectiveness isn't established yet. If you take any blood thinners, thyroid medication, or immunosuppressants, talk to your pharmacist before starting — the interactions here are real enough to matter.

ActivFulvic by Zemvelo Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
ActivFulvic by Zemvelo contains fulvic acid, which has documented interactions with three major medication types.
The most serious concern is with blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs (such as warfarin and aspirin). Lab evidence shows fulvic acid can shorten clotting time in blood, which may reduce how well these medications prevent clots — a Moderate severity interaction.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Fulvic acid may also interfere with immunosuppressant drugs used after organ transplants or for certain autoimmune conditions, and with thyroid hormone therapy. Animal research suggests fulvic acid stimulates immune function and increases thyroid-stimulating hormone levels, potentially lowering how well these treatments work.
Both are rated Moderate severity.
Altogether, these interactions span 253 individual medications. If you take any blood thinner, immunosuppressant, or thyroid hormone, check your exact medications with the search tool below before starting this product.

ActivFulvic
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, taking fulvic acid may decrease the effectiveness of anticoagulant and antiplatelet drugs.
In vitro evidence shows that fulvic acid, formed from the oxidation and polymerization of protocatechuic acid, can shorten prothrombin time in human plasma, increasing the risk of clot formation.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, taking fulvic acid might decrease the effects of immunosuppressive therapy.
Animal research shows that fulvic acid stimulates immune function.
Thyroid Hormone
Theoretically, taking fulvic acid with thyroid hormone therapy might interfere with the ability to normalize thyroid function.
Animal research shows that fulvic acid increases the plasma level of thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) and decreases the thyroxine (T4):triiodothyronine (T3) ratio.
