Rauwolfia serpentina is the biggest safety flag here — it contains potent alkaloids and should only be used under medical supervision. It commonly causes abdominal pain, slow heart rate (bradycardia), congestion, diarrhea, low blood pressure, increased appetite, nightmares, sleepiness, and weight gain.

Rare but serious effects include irregular heartbeat, seizures, depression, and heart attack. Tribulus is generally well tolerated short-term, but long-term safety data are limited.

Formula

Arjuna is a unique herb that helps maintain a healthy heart and reduces the effects of stress and nervousness. It promotes effective cardiac functioning and assists in maintaining already healthy blood pressure levels. Rauwolfia is a climbing shrub found in the tropical Himalayas, as well as other tropical locales. Its alkaloids are known to support already healthy blood pressure levels. Convolvulus also known as lpomoea root, is native to the hotter parts of India. The roots are tonic, mucilaginous and have a bitter taste. It acts as a mild purgative. This herb is also known to help maintain already healthy blood pressure levels. Tribulus is esteemed as a cooling tonic. Its action on the mucous membrane of the urinary tract closely resembles that of buchu and uva ursi flowers.
