Formula
The name 'Cordyceps' is derived from the Greek words meaning 'club' and 'head.' This name is perhaps due to its characteristic club-like appearance. A member of the 'sac fungi' family, Cordyceps are parasitic to insects and other small organisms. There are over 400 different species of Cordyceps. Cordyceps sinensis in particular are native to the Himalayas and can also be found in mountainous regions of Asia.

Cordyceps

In vitro and animal research suggests that cordyceps extract inhibits platelet aggregation and function. However, this interaction has not been reported in humans.
Immunosuppressants
