General Statements |
- Code Number: 1800
- Description: D-Ribose ("Ribose") is a 5-carbon sugar important for the synthesis of ATP, the cell's "energy molecule." D-Ribose helps protect tissues from energy deprivation, and stimulates recovery following low oxygen conditions. For healthy people this translates to more energy and less fatigue, greater exercise performance over time, and faster recovery from exercise or overexertion.
