The evidence for these probiotics is mixed. For Bifidobacterium breve specifically, the data shows it's possibly ineffective for age-related cognitive decline and sepsis, and there isn't enough reliable evidence yet to rate it for hay fever, antibiotic-associated diarrhea, or atopic disease.
The effectiveness ratings for the other two probiotic strains in this product aren't established in our data.

Bifidobacterium breve is generally well tolerated in healthy people, but caution is needed if you're very ill or immunocompromised — talk with your doctor first. Rare cases of bacterial bloodstream infections (bacteremia) related to probiotic use have been reported in critically ill infants and adults, including some linked to B. breve in preterm infants. Antibiotic Drugs
Theoretically, taking Bifidobacterium breve with antibiotic drugs might decrease the effectiveness of B. breve.
Since B. breve preparations usually contain live and active organisms, simultaneously taking antibiotics might kill a significant number of the organisms. Tell patients to separate administration of antibiotics and B. breve preparations by at least 2 hours.
