Sodium Copper Chlorophyllin
Chlorophyllin is derived from chlorophyll. It is produced by chemically modifying chlorophyll in a laboratory setting and is therefore considered 'semi-synthetic'. Chlorophyllin is produced as it is more water-soluble than chlorophyll and more stable. Chlorophyllin is used as a food coloring agent as well as a dietary supplement. It is claimed to have a variety of health benefits, including the ability to support detoxification, improve digestion, and reduce bad breath.

- Chlorophyll is a green pigment naturally produced by plants and algae and gives them their characteristic green color. Chlorophyll is critical for photosynthesis, the process by which sunlight is converted into chemical energy. Chlorophyll can function as a free radical neutralizer, may help to support the body's detoxification processes and has been traditionally used as an internal deodorizer. This water-soluble extract is in the form of sodium copper chlorophyllin.
