Nattokinase
Nattokinase is an enzyme extracted from a traditional Japanese food called nattō, which is made by fermenting soybeans with the bacteria Bacillus subtilis. Nattokinase is purported to have a number of health benefits, including the ability to reduce the risk of blood clots and improve cardiovascular health. It is thought to work by breaking down proteins called fibrins, which can help to dissolve blood clot and restore normal blood flow. Some studies have suggested that nattokinase may be effective at reducing the risk of blood clots and improving cardiovascular health, although more research is needed.

- Natto is a food that has been used in Japanese culture for over 1000 years for its numerous health benefits. Natto is made through a fermentation process by adding Baeillus natto, a useful bacterium, to boiled soybeans, resulting in the production of the Nattokinase enzyme.
Enzymes are biochemical catalysts, and without them life could not exist. Nattokinase is a systemic enzyme that can be absorbed from the digestive tract and used by the body. Nattokinase is so useful that is has been referred to as the "Enzyme of Enzymes."
In recent years, Nattokinase has been subject of at least 17 scientific studies. These clinical and non-clinical studies have demonstrated that Nattokinase supports heart health, promotes healthy circulation, and helps to keep already healthy levels of blood clotting factors within a normal range.
Nattokinase activity is often expressed in Fibrinolytic Units, a term indicating its relative potency.
- Nattokinase is an enzyme isolated from Natto, a traditional Japanese fermented soy food. Natto has been consumed safely for thousands of years for its numerous health benefits. More recently, both clinical and non-clinical studies have demonstrated that Nattokinase supports heart health and supports healthy circulation. Each serving of Nattokinase provides 2000 FU (Fibrinolytic Units) to help keep already healthy levels of blood clotting factors within a normal range.
