NattoRepair Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking NattoRepair against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Full disclosure
NattoRepair has three active ingredients. Inulin is a soluble fiber that may help with weight management and digestion.
Nattozimes is a fermented soybean extract containing nattokinase, an enzyme thought to support cardiovascular function. Bromelain is a protein-digesting enzyme from pineapple that may help with inflammation and digestion.
The product also contains a few inactive ingredients — water, hypromellose (a capsule material), and rice husk — that serve as fillers and binders.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
The evidence for each ingredient in this product is limited. Inulin is possibly effective for weight management, constipation, and blood sugar control in people with diabetes, though the evidence isn't complete.
For nattokinase, the data we hold shows insufficient evidence across all listed conditions — including heart health, chest pain, and atherosclerosis. Bromelain also shows insufficient evidence for the conditions listed, from hay fever to diabetes.
This product hasn't been studied as a combination, so we don't know how these three work together or how well this particular formula works for any condition.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Inulin is generally well tolerated, but it often causes gas, bloating, diarrhea, and stomach cramps, especially at higher doses — these happen to most people who take concentrated supplements. Nattokinase is generally tolerated short-term, but rare cases of bleeding have been reported, including a serious case of bleeding in the brain.
Bromelain is also generally well tolerated short-term, with common side effects being diarrhea, gas, stomach upset, and headache; allergic reactions including anaphylaxis can occur in people sensitive to pineapple or natto. Long-term safety data for bromelain is limited.
Regarding pregnancy: nattokinase is not recommended because there isn't enough safety data. Bromelain is also not recommended in pregnancy.
Inulin is rated likely safe in pregnancy, but amounts in food are the basis for that rating — safety of supplement doses isn't well studied. For breastfeeding, nattokinase and bromelain have unknown safety, so they're best avoided.
Data on inulin during breastfeeding isn't on file.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before taking this product, double-check if you're on blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (like warfarin, apixaban, aspirin, or clopidogrel) — nattokinase and bromelain both raise your bleeding risk at Moderate severity. Also check blood pressure medications (antihypertensive drugs) because nattokinase may lower blood pressure further.
If you take tetracycline antibiotics, bromelain may affect how well they work. And if you take diabetes medications, inulin might theoretically increase low blood sugar risk, though the evidence is mixed.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFully disclosed formula with some supporting evidence behind its ingredients' uses. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
NattoRepair combines three ingredients with limited clinical evidence for their effects. If you take blood thinners, blood pressure drugs, or tetracycline antibiotics, talk to your pharmacist before starting this — the interactions are real.
It's also not recommended in pregnancy or while breastfeeding. Expect possible gas and bloating, especially at the start.

NattoRepair by Warrior Essentials Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
NattoRepair by Warrior Essentials contains three active ingredients, and together they interact with medications in several drug categories.
The most serious concern is nattokinase (the active component of Nattozimes), which has a Moderate interaction with blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs like warfarin and aspirin — it can increase your bleeding risk. There's even a case report of a patient who developed bleeding in the brain (intracranial hemorrhage) after adding nattokinase to low-dose aspirin.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Nattokinase also has a Moderate interaction with blood pressure medications (antihypertensive drugs), since it may lower blood pressure further. Bromelain, another ingredient here, also interacts with blood thinners and antiplatelet drugs at Moderate severity — it has antiplatelet activity and may raise your bleeding risk.
There's one case report of minor bruising when bromelain was taken with naproxen.
Bromelain carries a Minor interaction with tetracycline antibiotics, though lab evidence of higher antibiotic levels hasn't held up in human studies. Inulin has a Minor interaction with diabetes medications — theoretically it could increase the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), though the evidence is mixed on whether inulin actually lowers blood sugar.
Additionally, if you take blood thinners, blood pressure drugs, tetracycline antibiotics, or diabetes medications, use the medication checker below with your exact drugs before starting this product.

For each ingredient in NattoRepair with known interactions, here are the types of medications they can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Nattozimes
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Nattokinase might increase the risk of bleeding when used with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs.
Nattokinase has thrombolytic and anticoagulant effects. There is a case report of intracranial hemorrhage in a patient who added nattokinase to aspirin therapy.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, nattokinase might increase the risk of hypotension when used with antihypertensive drugs.
Some clinical research suggests that nattokinase may reduce systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
Bromelain Proteolytic Enzyme extract
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Bromelain may have antiplatelet effects and may increase the risk of bleeding if used with anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs.
There is one case report of a patient experiencing minor bruising while taking bromelain with naproxen. Bromelain is thought to have antiplatelet activity. Whether this interaction is of concern with topical bromelain is unclear. Interference with coagulation of burn wounds has been reported in a patient receiving bromelain-based enzymatic debridement. However, observational research has found that topical bromelain debridement is not associated with increases or decreases in laboratory markers of coagulation when compared with surgical debridement.
Tetracycline Antibiotics
Theoretically, bromelain might increase levels of tetracycline antibiotics.
Laboratory research suggests that bromelain might increase the absorption of tetracycline antibiotics. However, a study in healthy adults reported no difference in tetracycline plasma levels when a 500 mg dose was taken with or without bromelain 80 mg.
Inulin
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, inulin might increase the risk of hypoglycemia with antidiabetes drugs.
Some clinical research shows that inulin improves glycemic control in patients with diabetes; however, it is unclear if it has hypoglycemic effects.
