NeuroHemp Ingredients & Drug Interactions
What is this page for?
First and foremost: checking NeuroHemp against your medications. The heart of this page is the interaction checker and the full interaction report — how this product’s ingredients may interact with prescription and over-the-counter medicines you may be taking.
Around that, we add a pharmacist’s high-level view of the product as a whole — what’s inside, the evidence for its stated use, how transparent the label is, and what safety data exists — so you can see the full picture in one place. It’s educational information from our licensed clinical databases and the clinical staff at HelloPharmacist — not medical advice — and we don’t sell or endorse products. Our editorial policy

Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
NeuroHemp contains 2 active ingredients: raw, organic, CO2-extracted oregano and raw hemp. Both are included in a proprietary blend format.
There are no other inactive ingredients listed.
Does it work?
Couldn't assess
The evidence on oregano for acne, bronchitis, asthma, headache, and upper respiratory infections is insufficient to rate. Similarly, the data we hold shows insufficient reliable evidence for hemp's use with constipation, eczema, or cholesterol.
In short, the evidence isn't established in our data for what this product is meant to do.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Oregano in food amounts is generally well tolerated, but concentrated supplements like this one are stronger and less studied. The most common side effect is digestive upset.
Rarely, allergic reactions including anaphylaxis have been reported. Hemp seed foods are generally well tolerated in normal amounts; larger supplement amounts seem okay too, but serious allergic reactions including anaphylaxis are rare, as are heart rhythm problems and liver concerns in specific cases.
During pregnancy, oregano at medicinal or supplement amounts should be avoided—food amounts are likely okay. The safety data on concentrated oregano supplements while breastfeeding isn't established, so stick to normal food amounts.
For hemp, food amounts are likely fine in pregnancy and breastfeeding, but concentrated extracts and supplements have limited safety data, so talk with your doctor or pharmacist before taking them while pregnant or nursing.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Before you start NeuroHemp, check with your pharmacist or doctor if you take blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (oregano may increase bleeding risk), diabetes medications (oregano may lower blood sugar too much), hormonal contraceptives or hormone therapy (hemp may interfere), blood pressure or ACE inhibitor drugs (hemp may add to their effect), or any heart or other medications, since hemp may change how your liver processes certain drugs.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with no assessable stated purpose. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
NeuroHemp combines two ingredients with several documented medication interactions, most notably with blood thinners and diabetes drugs. If you take any prescription medication, especially for blood pressure, heart, diabetes, or hormones, check your exact list with your doctor or pharmacist before adding this product.
Even if the interactions are theoretical, the evidence that backs this product's effectiveness is also not yet established, so be clear on why you're considering it.

NeuroHemp by Physician's Strength Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
NeuroHemp by Physician's Strength contains oregano and raw hemp, both of which interact with medications.
The most serious interaction is a Moderate risk: oregano may increase bleeding when combined with blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (such as warfarin or aspirin). This comes from early-stage research showing oregano may thin the blood.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Oregano also carries a Moderate risk with diabetes medications—it might lower blood sugar further and raise the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Hemp contributes Minor-level interactions across several categories: it may interfere with hormone therapy (estrogens), add to the blood-pressure-lowering effect of antihypertensive drugs or ACE inhibitors, theoretically increase bleeding risk with anticoagulants or antiplatelets, and may speed up how your liver processes certain drug types (CYP1A2 and CYP3A4 substrates), potentially making them less effective.
Altogether, these interactions span 1,019 individual medications. If you take any prescription medication—especially blood thinners, diabetes drugs, blood pressure drugs, hormones, or heart medications—run it through the checker below or talk with your pharmacist before starting this product.

For each ingredient in NeuroHemp with known interactions, here are the types of medications they can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Hemp, Raw
Estrogens
Theoretically, hemp might interfere with hormone therapy due to its estrogenic effects.
In an ovariectomized animal model, a diet containing hemp seed 1%, 2%, or 10% resulted in normalized plasma levels of 17-beta-estradiol. The mechanism of action for this effect is unclear.
Ace Inhibitors (Aceis)
Theoretically, consuming hemp seed protein isolate with ACE inhibitors might have additive effects and increase the risk of hypotension.
Hemp seed protein hydrolysate has shown ACE inhibitor-like effects in a hypertensive animal model. However, hempseed oil consumption does not seem to reduce blood pressure in humans. Until more is known, monitor blood pressure and potassium levels.
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, hemp seed might increase the risk of bleeding when used concomitantly with anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs.
In animal research, hemp seed at 5% of the diet inhibits platelet aggregation in vitro. However, in human research, taking hemp seed oil 2 grams daily for 12 weeks does not inhibit the aggregation of platelets in vitro.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, hemp seed protein may have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
In a hypertensive animal model, hemp seed protein hydrolysate reduced systolic blood pressure by a mechanism possibly involving the inhibition of renin and angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) activities. However, there was no effect of hemp seed protein on blood pressure in normotensive animals. Furthermore, hempseed oil consumption does not seem to reduce blood pressure in humans.
Cytochrome P450 1A2 (Cyp1A2) Substrates
Theoretically, hemp might decrease the levels and clinical effects of CYP1A2 substrates.
In vitro research shows that hemp induces CYP1A2 enzymes.
