NOX Flo SR contains 4 active ingredients. L-citrulline is an amino acid your body converts to L-arginine, which helps relax blood vessels and improve blood flow.
Coenzyme Q10 is a compound that supports energy production in your cells and works as an antioxidant. The product also includes R-Lipoic Acid Proprietary Complex and S-Isomeric Rutinoside Proprietary Complex, both present in undisclosed amounts as proprietary blends.
The capsules also contain inactive ingredients — hypromellose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, calcium laurate, and plant enzyme — that serve as binders and flow agents.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
L-citrulline is possibly effective for athletic performance, meaning some evidence suggests it may help, though the research isn't conclusive. For heart failure and cardiovascular disease, the evidence we have isn't reliable enough to rate how well it works.
It appears possibly ineffective for sarcopenia (age-related muscle loss). Coenzyme Q10 is likely effective if you have a documented CoQ10 deficiency, and possibly effective for fibromyalgia, migraine headaches, congestive heart failure, and diabetic nerve damage (neuropathy).

How safe is it?
Well-documented data
L-citrulline is generally well tolerated in healthy adults, though long-term safety hasn't been fully studied. The most common side effects are gastrointestinal — stomach discomfort and heartburn.
A small number of people with pulmonary high blood pressure reported cough. Coenzyme Q10 is generally well tolerated; serious adverse effects haven't been reported in clinical studies.
Mild gastrointestinal side effects like nausea, diarrhea, and heartburn occur in less than 1% of patients and can often be minimized by splitting doses over 100 mg. Rare reports include headache, dizziness, insomnia, and skin itching.
Regarding pregnancy, L-citrulline safety data is insufficient — it's best to avoid it unless your doctor advises otherwise. For Coenzyme Q10, there isn't enough reliable safety data in pregnancy, so again avoid unless your doctor directs otherwise.
While breastfeeding, L-citrulline safety is unknown, so avoid supplemental use. CoQ10 safety during breastfeeding hasn't been well studied — use caution and check with your doctor.

Coenzyme Q10 Proprietary Complex
Alkylating Agents
Coenzyme Q10 has antioxidant effects. Theoretically, this may reduce the activity of chemotherapy drugs that generate free radicals.
Theoretically, antioxidants such as coenzyme Q10 might protect tumor cells from chemotherapeutic agents that work by inducing oxidative stress, such as alkylating agents (e.g., cyclophosphamide) and radiation therapy. The clinical importance of this interaction is unknown.
Warfarin (Coumadin)
Coenzyme Q10 is chemically similar to menaquinone and might have vitamin K-like procoagulant effects, which could decrease the effects of warfarin.
Concomitant use of coenzyme Q10 and warfarin might reduce the anticoagulant effects of warfarin. Four cases of decreased warfarin efficacy thought to be due to coenzyme Q10 have been reported. However, there is some preliminary clinical research that suggests coenzyme Q10 might not significantly decrease the effects of warfarin in patients who have a stable INR.
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, coenzyme Q10 might have additive effects with antihypertensive drugs.
Some clinical research shows that coenzyme Q10 can significantly lower blood pressure, although other studies have shown conflicting results.
L-Citrulline
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, concomitant use of L-citrulline with antihypertensive drugs might have additive effects and increase the chance of hypotension.
L-citrulline is converted to L-arginine, which can increase nitric oxide and cause vasodilation. However, a meta-analysis of 5 small clinical studies suggests that taking L-citrulline 3-6 grams daily for 1-8 weeks does not lower blood pressure when compared with control.
Phosphodiesterase-5 Inhibitors
Theoretically, concurrent use of phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) inhibitors and L-citrulline might result in additive vasodilation.
L-citrulline is converted to L-arginine, which can increase nitric oxide and cause vasodilation. Theoretically, taking L-arginine with PDE-5 inhibitors might have additive vasodilatory and hypotensive effects. However, in studies evaluating the combined use of L-arginine and sildenafil for erectile dysfunction, hypotension was not reported.
