Our pharmacy team’s full take, with four database checks built into the cards below — a summary of what is known, not a grade of the product itself.
What’s inside
Low disclosure
Polarity Balance has 2 active ingredients: bee pollen and spirulina (a blue-green algae). The product also contains inactive ingredients — a vegetarian capsule, vegetable magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, and rice flour — which are fillers and binders used to hold the capsule together.
One ingredient, the proprietary blend, isn't fully disclosed by name, so we can't tell you exactly what's in it or assess its full effects.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
For bee pollen, the evidence is limited. It's rated possibly ineffective for athletic performance.
For allergic rhinitis (hay fever), amenorrhea (absent periods), benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate), and breast cancer-related hot flashes, there isn't enough reliable evidence to rate whether it works. Spirulina shows possibly effective evidence for high blood pressure.
For acne, allergic rhinitis, iron deficiency anemia, and arsenic poisoning, the evidence is insufficient to say either way.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
Bee pollen is generally tolerated but can trigger allergic reactions — sometimes severe. People with allergies to ragweed, chrysanthemums, daisies, or similar plants are at higher risk.
Rare serious effects reported include acute hepatitis, kidney problems, and anaphylaxis. It's rated possibly unsafe in pregnancy, and there isn't enough safety data for breastfeeding — the facts advise against it.
Spirulina is generally well tolerated, though some people report stomach cramps, bloating, diarrhea, nausea, and headache. The main safety concern is that quality varies — some batches can contain toxins or heavy metals.
Because of contamination risk and insufficient safety data, it's advised against in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Meds to double-check
Moderate interaction found
Check with your doctor or pharmacist before taking this product if you're on warfarin or other blood thinners, antiplatelet drugs (like aspirin or clopidogrel), diabetes medications, or immunosuppressants. These are Moderate-severity interactions.
If you have a history of pollen allergies — especially to ragweed, chrysanthemums, or daisies — mention that too.
The bottom line
Scorecard at a glanceFormula with limited ingredient disclosure with some supporting evidence behind its ingredients' uses. Moderate medication interactions have been identified, and safety information is well characterized.
Polarity Balance may appeal to someone looking to support blood pressure or athletic performance, but the interaction profile is significant — especially if you take blood thinners, diabetes drugs, or immunosuppressants. Bee pollen can trigger serious allergic reactions, particularly if you have pollen allergies.
Before you start, talk with your doctor or pharmacist about your medications and any pollen allergies.

Formulation
These two natural ingredients have been brought forward for the balancing of our polarity. Even though they are known for this special use, it seems that no one really recommended the use and especially the frequency and amounts actually needed. Just about everyone that is out of sorts, i.e., tired, has what is called "reversed polarity" or is, as Kieth calls it, "switched." He came up with a good term and explains in his teachings that, if you take the battery cable off their positive and negative posts and switch them, the battery will fail and possibly explode. We are better made than a battery and can exist for years this way and still function. Even though we take herbs and vitamins, we are often sick, and we can't seem to feel as well as others who use them for better health.
Formula
Spirulina is an herb food man can exist on it alone, if necessary. It is known as a miracle food and is one of the cleanest, most natural and sterile foods found in nature. Spirulina is the highest natural source of Vitamin B-12. Beta-Carotene, as Gamma Linolenic Acid, contains most of the Amino Acids. It contains four times the protein of beef and contains twenty-six times the Calcium of milk. The list goes on and on. It can helps boost the immune system and assist in curbing the appetite. It also helps keep the body toned and alert. Spirulina with Bee Pollen is a high energy tonic, blood cleanser and builder. Bee Pollen can be effective for many of the above uses.

Polarity Balance by New Sun Drug Interactions
HelloPharmacist Interaction Report
Polarity Balance by New Sun contains bee pollen and spirulina, both of which interact with medications.
The most serious concern is bee pollen with warfarin (Coumadin), a blood thinner — there's a case report of a patient whose clotting level more than doubled after starting bee pollen, raising the risk of bleeding.
Read the full breakdown — every affected drug type, severity by severity
Spirulina carries Moderate interactions with three drug categories. It may increase bleeding risk if you take other blood thinners or antiplatelet drugs (like aspirin or clopidogrel).
It can also interfere with immunosuppressants — drugs that deliberately weaken your immune system after transplant or for certain autoimmune conditions. And it may lower blood sugar too much if you're on diabetes medications, raising the risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
Altogether, these interactions span 327 individual medications. We could not check interaction data for the proprietary blend — its component ingredients aren't named on the label.

For each ingredient in Polarity Balance with known interactions, here are the types of medications they can affect. Open any type for the detail — or search your exact drug in the checker above.
Spirulina
Anticoagulant/Antiplatelet Drugs
Theoretically, spirulina blue-green algae might increase the risk of bleeding if used with other anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs. However, this is unlikely.
Spirulina blue-green algae have shown antiplatelet and anticoagulant effects in vitro. However, one preliminary study in 24 patients receiving spirulina blue-green algae 2.3 grams daily for 2 weeks showed no effect on platelet activation or measures of clotting time.
Antidiabetes Drugs
Theoretically, taking blue-green algae with antidiabetes drugs might increase the risk of hypoglycemia.
Human research shows that spirulina blue-green algae can have hypoglycemic effects in patients with diabetes, at least some of whom were using antidiabetes drugs. However, blue-green algae does not seem to improve glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels in patients with diabetes. A meta-analysis of animal studies also suggests that spirulina blue-green algae have hypoglycemic effects.
Immunosuppressants
Theoretically, concurrent use of blue-green algae might interfere with immunosuppressive therapy.
Blue-green algae have been shown to stimulate the immune system.
Bee Pollen
Warfarin (Coumadin)
There is some concern that bee pollen might interact with warfarin and increase the risk of bleeding.
In one case report, a patient on warfarin had a stable international normalized ratio (INR) of 1.9-3.3 for 9 months. The patient's INR was found to be 7.1 after starting bee pollen granules one teaspoon twice daily for approximately one month. The patient's warfarin dose was decreased by approximately 11% in order to return the INR to the therapeutic range while continuing the bee pollen supplement.
