Every active ingredient lists its own amount on the label.

Why this rating?
  • The label discloses an exact amount for 1 of its 1 active ingredient.
  • No proprietary blends here — you can verify the dose of every single component.

Rad-140 Max contains one active ingredient: RAD 140 (testolone). The product also includes inactive ingredients — rice flour, magnesium stearate, and gelatin — which are fillers and capsule materials that help deliver the dose.

Testolone is a research compound developed for muscle and bone conditions, but it remains unapproved by the FDA and has not completed human safety testing.

Insufficient evidence
Evidence for Intended Use · database check
By FDA rules, dietary supplements can’t claim to treat, cure, or prevent disease — so labels speak in careful marketing language. We discern each product’s intended use from its name, label claims, and label statements, then grade the clinical evidence for that use. How these ratings are computed
Insufficient

There isn't enough reliable clinical evidence to rate this product's ingredients for its stated purpose.

Why this rating?
  • The label markets this product for: muscle building and physical performance enhancement.
  • We looked for evidence on: Athletic performance, Muscle strength, Sarcopenia, Cachexia, body composition, lean mass — and 1 related terms.
  • The closest evidence on file: Testolone is rated "Insufficient Reliable Evidence To Rate" for Athletic performance (Natural Medicines).
  • Also on file: Testolone is rated "Insufficient Reliable Evidence To Rate" for Cachexia, Muscle strength, Sarcopenia.

We don't have reliable evidence to rate testolone's effectiveness for athletic performance, muscle strength, osteoporosis, breast cancer, or cachexia (severe muscle wasting). The data we hold shows insufficient evidence for any of these uses.

How safe is it?

Well-documented data
Safety Information · database check
Well characterized

Adverse-effect, pregnancy, and general safety data are on file for most of these ingredients.

Why this rating?
  • We hold adverse-effect (side-effect) data for 1 of the 1 matched ingredient.
  • Pregnancy & breastfeeding safety ratings cover 1 of 1.
  • General safety write-ups exist for 1 of 1.
  • Remember: this measures how much safety information exists. Thin data is not the same as being safe.

Testolone is possibly unsafe and carries serious, documented risks. The most common adverse effects reported include decreased appetite, dehydration, elevated liver enzymes, vomiting, and weight loss.

Rare but serious effects include acute heart inflammation (myocarditis), liver injury, and electrolyte imbalances. One person developed abnormal hair growth and acne during use.

Testolone is hormonally active and unstudied in pregnancy — the safety data advises against use if you're pregnant. There is no safety data for breastfeeding; avoid completely if you're nursing.

Because testolone is an unapproved experimental drug with reported serious risks, it should not be used.
