Both ligandrol and testolone carry serious documented safety concerns. Ligandrol has been linked to liver injury in case reports and has caused decreases in HDL (good) cholesterol in trials.

Testolone carries an even longer list: the most common side effects in reports include decreased appetite, dehydration, elevated liver enzymes, vomiting, and weight loss. Serious but rare effects include acute heart inflammation (myocarditis) and liver injury.

Because both are hormonally active and unapproved, the safety data advises against use in pregnancy and breastfeeding. The FDA has specifically warned that SARM-containing supplements have been associated with liver toxicity.
