The evidence on ligandrol for athletic performance, muscle strength, cancer, cachexia (muscle wasting), and muscular dystrophy is insufficient to rate reliably. How safe is it?

Ligandrol carries real safety concerns. It is not an approved dietary supplement and the FDA has warned that SARMs like this one have been associated with liver toxicity.
There are documented cases of liver injury linked to ligandrol use, including a report of a 32-year-old who developed elevated liver enzymes after just 2 weeks at 10 mg daily. Additionally, even at low doses (0.3–1.0 mg daily), ligandrol reduced good cholesterol (HDL) in trial participants over 3 weeks.
For pregnancy, the safety data advises against use — it is rated possibly unsafe and could harm a developing baby. For breastfeeding, safety is unknown and the drug may pass into breast milk; avoid it completely.
