Betaine anhydrous helps your body process amino acids and homocysteine (a compound linked to heart health). Beta-alanine is another amino acid tied to muscle endurance during exercise.
L-norvaline is a branched-chain amino acid for muscle support. Glycerol (GlycerPump) draws water into cells for hydration and performance.
AstraGin and cluster dextrin support nutrient absorption and carbohydrate delivery. The powder also contains inactive ingredients like malic acid, citric acid, sucralose, acesulfame potassium, and silicon dioxide for taste and texture.
Does it work?
Moderate evidence
L-citrulline is possibly effective for athletic performance, though it's possibly ineffective for age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia). Evidence for cardiovascular disease and heart failure is insufficient to rate.
Beta-alanine is possibly effective for athletic and physical performance. Glycerol (GlycerPump) is likely effective for constipation and possibly effective for athletic performance.
Betaine anhydrous is effective for homocystinuria and possibly effective for high homocysteine levels, though evidence for the other claimed uses is insufficient. For L-norvaline, AstraGin, and cluster dextrin, the evidence in our data isn't established.
How safe is it?
Well-documented data
L-citrulline, betaine anhydrous, beta-alanine, and glycerol are generally well tolerated at studied doses in healthy adults. L-citrulline may cause gastrointestinal discomfort or heartburn.
Beta-alanine commonly causes a harmless tingling sensation (paresthesia) and skin flushing, usually starting on the scalp within 20 minutes and lasting about an hour — severity depends on dose. Betaine anhydrous can cause body odor, nausea, vomiting, GI distress, and diarrhea, and rarely cerebral edema.
Glycerol may cause bloating, nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headache, and diarrhea at higher doses. During pregnancy, there isn't enough safety data for L-citrulline, beta-alanine, or glycerol — the safety data advises against use.
For betaine anhydrous, pregnancy and lactation data isn't on file — talk to your doctor or pharmacist. While breastfeeding, safety data is unknown for L-citrulline and beta-alanine, and not well established for betaine anhydrous; glycerol data isn't on file.

L-Citrulline
Antihypertensive Drugs
Theoretically, concomitant use of L-citrulline with antihypertensive drugs might have additive effects and increase the chance of hypotension.
L-citrulline is converted to L-arginine, which can increase nitric oxide and cause vasodilation. However, a meta-analysis of 5 small clinical studies suggests that taking L-citrulline 3-6 grams daily for 1-8 weeks does not lower blood pressure when compared with control.
Phosphodiesterase-5 Inhibitors
Theoretically, concurrent use of phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) inhibitors and L-citrulline might result in additive vasodilation.
L-citrulline is converted to L-arginine, which can increase nitric oxide and cause vasodilation. Theoretically, taking L-arginine with PDE-5 inhibitors might have additive vasodilatory and hypotensive effects. However, in studies evaluating the combined use of L-arginine and sildenafil for erectile dysfunction, hypotension was not reported.
