Formulation

Lactase is an enzyme necessary to digest the milk sugar, lactose. The activity of this enzyme may decline after childhood, and difficulty in digesting dairy products may develop. Symptoms of lactase deficiency after eating dairy products include gas, bloating, intestinal discomfort, cramps and/or diarrhea. The addition of formula 880 lactase enzyme supplement to the diet when consuming dairy products or taking medicines or vitamins containing lactose can relieve the discomforts of simple lactase deficiency.
