Due to its iodine content, sea moss might alter the effects of thyroid hormone.
Sea moss contains approximately 4-7 mcg of iodine per gram. Iodine in high doses has been reported to cause both hyperthyroidism and hypothyroidism, depending on the individual's past medical history. Taking sea moss could theoretically alter the effects of thyroid hormone.

Sea Moss Overview
Sea moss, also known as Irish moss, is a type of seaweed native to the Atlantic coast of Europe and North America. It is a rich source of nutrients, including iodine, calcium, and potassium. It is also a good source of carrageenan.
Sea moss has been traditionally used as a natural remedy for a variety of conditions, such as respiratory problems (e.g, cough), digestive issues, and thyroid disorders. It is also claimed to have anti-inflammatory properties and to be beneficial for the skin and hair.
As a dietary supplement, it is most commonly marketed as a plant-based source of antioxidants.
Levothyroxine Overview

Levothyroxine is used to treat hypothyroidism (condition where the thyroid gland does not produce enough thyroid hormone). It is also used with surgery and radioactive iodine therapy to treat thyroid cancer. Levothyroxine is in a class of medications called hormones. It works by replacing thyroid hormone that is normally produced by the body.

Without thyroid hormone, your body cannot function properly, which may result in poor growth, slow speech, lack of energy, excessive tiredness, constipation, weight gain, hair loss, dry, thick skin, increased sensitivity to cold, joint and muscle pain, heavy or irregular menstrual periods, and depression. When taken correctly, levothyroxine reverses these symptoms.
