Why this applies to Budenoside

Budenoside falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Acacia Rigidula interacts with.

Theoretically, Acacia rigidula products that are adulterated with beta-methylphenylethylamine (BMPEA) might increase the levels of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA, an adulterant found in many Acacia rigidula products, inhibits CYP3A4 enzyme by 37%.

Here's the gist for budesonide. Your body clears this steroid using a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Some Acacia rigidula products have been found spiked with a stimulant called BMPEA, and lab studies suggest BMPEA can partly block (about 37%) that same enzyme. If that enzyme slows down, budesonide could build up a bit more than usual.

Budesonide is not a prodrug, so more of it in your system means stronger steroid effects and a higher chance of side effects (think mouth or throat irritation with the inhaler, and with bigger exposures things like fluid retention or mood changes). To be fair, this is only a theoretical, lab-based concern, so I wouldn't panic. Still, given some products are adulterated, please check with your pharmacist before combining them.
