These two interact in 2 distinct ways. Each one is explained separately below.
Why Are There 2 Interactions?
Acacia Rigidula interacts with whole categories of medication. Chlorpheniramine, Methscopolamine, Pseudoephedrine falls into 2 of those categories, so it can interact with Acacia Rigidula in 2 different ways. We’ve listed each one below — your overall risk is driven by the most serious of them (Moderate).
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
1 of 2Why this applies to Chlorpheniramine, Methscopolamine, Pseudoephedrine
Chlorpheniramine, Methscopolamine, Pseudoephedrine falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Acacia Rigidula interacts with.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA, an adulterant found in many Acacia rigidula products, inhibits CYP3A4 enzyme by 37%.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the bigger picture with this combo. Some Acacia rigidula products have been found spiked with a stimulant called BMPEA, and lab studies suggest BMPEA can slightly slow down a liver enzyme (CYP3A4) that helps clear part of this medicine. In theory, that could let levels build up a bit, nudging up side effects like a racing or pounding heart, jitteriness, trouble sleeping, dry mouth, constipation, blurry vision, or feeling wired. Keep in mind the pseudoephedrine in your product is already a stimulant, so stacking it with a stimulant-containing supplement is my real concern here.
Honestly, this is based on test-tube data, not solid human studies, so the enzyme part is theoretical. Even so, I'd steer clear of Acacia rigidula and check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

STIMULANT DRUGS
2 of 2Chlorpheniramine, Methscopolamine, Pseudoephedrine also falls under STIMULANT DRUGS.
Constituents and adulterants found in Acacia rigidula can have stimulant effects.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the thing to keep in mind: the combo product you're asking about contains pseudoephedrine, which is itself a stimulant decongestant. Acacia rigidula may contain natural stimulant-like amines, and some products have even been found spiked with an unapproved stimulant called BMPEA. Stacking two stimulants together can add up.
Mostly we worry about the heart and blood pressure side. Together they could push your heart rate up, bump your blood pressure, or leave you feeling jittery, anxious, or unable to sleep. To be fair, this is a theoretical concern based on how these ingredients work, not proven cases, but it's a real-enough reason to be cautious. Please check with your pharmacist or doctor before pairing them.

About Acacia Rigidula
What is Acacia Rigidula?
- Weight loss
- Energy and stimulation
- Boosting metabolism
- Appetite control
- Pre-workout/athletic performance
Acacia rigidula is a shrub from Texas and Mexico that is marketed in weight-loss and energy supplements. There is very little reliable human evidence that it works, and some products have been found to contain an unapproved stimulant drug (BMPEA), which raises real safety concerns. Most people should avoid it and talk to a pharmacist or doctor before trying any product containing it.
