What Is Dacarbazine Used For?

Brand name: DTIC-Dome

Dacarbazine for Injection is used to treat metastatic malignant melanoma — an advanced form of skin cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.

It is also used for Hodgkin's disease (a type of lymphoma) as a second-line therapy, meaning it is given when other treatments haven't worked well enough. For Hodgkin's disease, it is always used in combination with other cancer-fighting drugs.
