Fentanyl citrate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 2D6 (CYP2D6) SUBSTRATES — the group Acacia Rigidula interacts with.

Theoretically, Acacia rigidula products that are adulterated with beta-methylphenylethylamine (BMPEA) might increase the levels of CYP2D6 substrates.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA, an adulterant found in many Acacia rigidula products, strongly inhibits CYP2D6 enzyme.

Here's the thing with combining an Acacia rigidula product and fentanyl. Some of these supplements have been found spiked with a stimulant called BMPEA, and in lab tests BMPEA blocks an enzyme called CYP2D6. The worry is that slowing that enzyme could let certain drugs build up in your body. The catch is that fentanyl is mainly cleared by a different enzyme (CYP3A4), not CYP2D6, so this particular concern is largely theoretical for fentanyl and rests only on test-tube data.

That said, fentanyl is a very powerful opioid, and stacking a stimulant on top of it can stress your heart and blood pressure. Please don't start any Acacia rigidula product without first checking with your pharmacist or doctor.

Theoretically, Acacia rigidula products that are adulterated with beta-methylphenylethylamine (BMPEA) might increase the levels of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that BMPEA, an adulterant found in many Acacia rigidula products, inhibits CYP3A4 enzyme by 37%.

Here's the concern with this pair. Your body relies on a liver enzyme called CYP3A4 to break down fentanyl and keep its levels in check. Some Acacia rigidula products have been found spiked with a stimulant called BMPEA, and in lab studies that compound slowed CYP3A4 down by about a third. If that happened in a real person, fentanyl could build up instead of clearing normally, pushing its effects too high.

With a powerful opioid like fentanyl, that matters a lot. Too much can mean heavy drowsiness, confusion, very slow or shallow breathing, and dangerously low blood pressure. The evidence here is only theoretical (test-tube data), but fentanyl leaves little room for error, so please talk with your doctor or pharmacist before mixing the two.
