Letrozole, Ribociclib Succinate falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group American Elder interacts with.

Theoretically, taking American elder might increase levels of CYP3A4 substrates.

Your Kisqali Femara Co-Pack combines two cancer medicines, and both letrozole and ribociclib are cleared from your body partly by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Ribociclib in particular leans heavily on this enzyme. Lab studies (test tube only) hint that American elder might slow CYP3A4 down a bit. In theory, that could let these drugs build up a little, which could mean more of their usual side effects, such as nausea, fatigue, low blood counts, or changes in your heart's rhythm (something ribociclib already requires monitoring for).

That said, this concern is only theoretical and based on lab work, not real patients, so don't panic. Because this is serious cancer treatment, please run any elderberry product past your oncologist or pharmacist first.
