Sitaxsentan sodium falls under ANTIHYPERTENSIVE DRUGS — the group Artichoke interacts with.

Theoretically, artichoke leaf extract may increase the risk of hypotension when taken with antihypertensive drugs.
A meta-analysis of small clinical studies in patients with hypertension shows that taking artichoke can reduce systolic blood pressure by around 3 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure by around 2 mmHg when compared with placebo.

Here's the simple version. Sitaxsentan (brand name Thelin) is used to relax blood vessels and ease the strain on your heart and lungs, which can also nudge your blood pressure down. Artichoke leaf extract, on its own, may lower blood pressure just a little (studies suggest something like 3 points on the top number and 2 on the bottom). So in theory, pairing the two could add up and drop your pressure a bit more than expected.

If that happened, you might feel lightheaded, dizzy, or tired, especially when standing up quickly. To be honest, this concern is theoretical and based on how these things work, not strong proof. The effect from artichoke is usually mild. Still, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor before adding it.
