Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
VASODILATORS
Why this applies to Theobromine
Theobromine falls under VASODILATORS — the group Beer interacts with.
Acute alcohol intoxication can increase the risk of hypotension and additive effects with vasodilators.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Theobromine, the natural compound found in cocoa and chocolate, has a mild blood-vessel-widening (vasodilator) effect. It isn't a prodrug, so it doesn't need to be switched on by your body to work. Beer adds its own effect on top of this. Alcohol also relaxes and widens blood vessels, so pairing the two can lower your blood pressure more than either one alone.
In real life that may mean feeling lightheaded, dizzy, or woozy, especially when you stand up quickly. The bigger concern is drinking a lot at once, since heavier alcohol intake raises the risk of a sudden drop. A drink with chocolate usually isn't a big deal, but if you take concentrated theobromine, check with your pharmacist or doctor first.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Theobromine page
“Theobromine, the caffeine cousin found in chocolate and used medically as a mild diuretic and blood vessel relaxer, deserves real care around supplements. Most of the trouble runs through its diuretic action: dozens of herbs, from aloe latex to apple cider vinegar, either add their own fluid-losing effect or drain potassium, and togeth…”

About Beer
What is Beer?
- Social and recreational drinking
- Relaxation
- Heart health (popular belief)
- Bone health (popular belief)
- Source of antioxidants and B vitamins
Beer is an alcoholic beverage that contains some minerals, B vitamins, and plant compounds from hops and grain, but it is not a health supplement. Any possible benefits come only from light-to-moderate intake, and they are easily outweighed by the well-known harms of alcohol. The safest amount of alcohol for health is none, and beer should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
