Buprenorphine Hydrochloride falls under SEIZURE THRESHOLD LOWERING DRUGS — the group Biofeedback interacts with.

There is some concern that electroencephalogram (EEG) biofeedback might lower the seizure threshold in some patients. Theoretically, combining EEG biofeedback with seizure threshold-lowering drugs might increase the risk of seizure.
Some drugs that lower the seizure threshold include anesthetics (propofol, others), antiarrhythmics (mexiletine), antibiotics (amphotericin, penicillin, cephalosporins, imipenem), antidepressants (bupropion, others), antihistamines (cyproheptadine, others), immunosuppressants (cyclosporine), narcotics (fentanyl, others), stimulants (methylphenidate), theophylline, and others.

Here's the short version: this isn't a chemical clash. Biofeedback won't change how your body absorbs or breaks down buprenorphine (Belbuca). The concern is very narrow and applies only to EEG (brainwave) biofeedback, which in theory could nudge the seizure threshold a little lower in certain people. Like many opioids, buprenorphine can also slightly lower that threshold, so the idea is that stacking the two might raise seizure risk.

Honestly, this is mostly theoretical and the evidence is thin. For most folks using ordinary biofeedback (for headaches, muscle tension, or pelvic floor work), there's no real worry. If you have a seizure history or are doing EEG-based neurofeedback, just give your doctor or pharmacist a quick heads-up first.
