Here's the situation with NexoBrid (anacaulase-bcdb). This isn't a pill you swallow. It's an enzyme gel made from pineapple that's applied directly onto severe burns to dissolve and remove dead tissue. Because it works right at the wound, one known side effect is some local oozing or bleeding as that dead skin is cleared away.

Black currant seed oil supplies GLA, which in theory can make platelets a little less sticky and nudge up bleeding risk. So the concern is mostly about that treated wound bleeding slightly more. I'll be honest with you though: this is a theoretical caution based on lab research, not real patient reports. Food amounts of black currant are very unlikely to matter. Still, since this is used on burns, let your burn team or pharmacist know about any supplements you take.
