Here's the practical picture. Cangrelor (Kengreal) is a strong IV antiplatelet drug given in the hospital, usually during a heart procedure like a stent placement. It works right away to keep your platelets from clumping, so its whole job is to thin your blood. Black currant seed oil contains GLA, which on its own may have a mild platelet-slowing effect.

Stack those two and you could, in theory, see a bit more bleeding or bruising. I'll be honest though: this concern is theoretical, based on how GLA behaves in the lab, not on real cases. Since cangrelor is only used in a monitored hospital setting, your care team is already watching closely. Just tell them about any supplements you take so they have the full picture.
