Here's the gist with Campath (alemtuzumab): this is a strong medicine that works by steering your immune system to wipe out leukemia cells, and it also leaves your immune defenses lowered for a while. Black seed (Nigella sativa) has been looked at as something that might nudge the immune system, but the research is muddy. Some lab and animal studies hint it could rev the immune system up, while others suggest it may calm it down. Either way, we just don't have solid human data here.

Because both push on the same immune pathways, the worry is that black seed could in theory work against what your treatment is doing. This is purely theoretical right now, so I wouldn't panic. Still, with a serious cancer therapy like this, I'd keep your oncologist or pharmacist in the loop before adding any black seed supplement.

What Is Alemtuzumab Injection (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia) Used For?

Brand name: Campath

Alemtuzumab (brand name Lemtrada) is approved for adults with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS) — including relapsing-remitting MS and active secondary progressive MS. Because it carries serious risks, it is generally reserved for people who have already tried at least two other MS medications without adequate results.

It is not recommended for people with clinically isolated syndrome (CIS), a first episode of MS-like symptoms, due to its risk profile.
