Here's something worth knowing if you take celery seed extract or oil while you're on norfloxacin. Norfloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, and these drugs can already make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, which means you may sunburn faster than usual. Celery contains natural compounds called psoralens that can do the same thing. Stack the two together and, at least in theory, you could be a bit more prone to a sunburn-type reaction.

I'll be honest with you: this is based on very limited, mostly anecdotal evidence, and it's rated as minor. Eating celery as food is unlikely to cause trouble. Concentrated supplements are the bigger question mark. While you're on this antibiotic, use sunscreen, cover up outside, and check with your pharmacist if you have concerns.
