ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS
Why this applies to Aspirin, Pentazocine
Aspirin, Pentazocine falls under ANTICOAGULANT/ANTIPLATELET DRUGS — the group Chaga interacts with.
In vitro and animal research suggests that chaga extract can inhibit platelet aggregation. This effect has not been reported in humans.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Talwin Compound combines aspirin with pentazocine. The piece that matters here is the aspirin, which already thins your blood a bit by keeping platelets from clumping together. Chaga, at least in lab dishes and animal studies, seems to do something similar and may make platelets less sticky too.
Put them together and, in theory, you could bruise more easily, bleed a little longer from a cut, or notice things like nosebleeds or gum bleeding. I want to be honest, though: this overlap has not actually been seen in people, so it's a precaution based on how the two work, not a proven problem. Tea-sized amounts are less of a concern than concentrated supplements. Before adding chaga, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Aspirin, Pentazocine page
“Talwin Compound pairs pentazocine, an opioid painkiller, with aspirin, and I read its supplement list with more concern than most. The great majority of entries do one of two things: raise the bleeding risk that aspirin already carries, or deepen the sedation pentazocine causes.”
