Here's the interesting twist with your combo pill. EDTA chelation can lower potassium and push more of it out through your urine. On its own, that would worry me with a water pill. But your medication pairs two diuretics: hydrochlorothiazide tends to lower potassium, while spironolactone is potassium-sparing and helps hold onto it. That second ingredient is actually there to balance things out, so the overall picture is less straightforward than with a plain thiazide.

This concern is theoretical, based on how the drugs work rather than real cases, and FDA chelation is done under close medical supervision with bloodwork. Still, if you're on any chelation product, ask your doctor to keep an eye on your potassium and kidney levels.
