ORAL DRUGS
Why this applies to Testosterone Enanthate
Testosterone Enanthate falls under ORAL DRUGS — the group Coffee Charcoal interacts with.
Interaction has not been documented in well-controlled studies, however, the interaction has been demonstrated in some small human studies or in controlled animal studies in conjunction with multiple case reports..
Here's the good news on this one: testosterone enanthate (Xyosted) is an injection, not a pill. The concern with coffee charcoal is that its porous, charcoal-like surface can grab onto medicines sitting in your stomach and gut, lowering how much gets absorbed. Since you're injecting testosterone (under the skin or into muscle), it bypasses the gut entirely, so charcoal in your stomach really has nothing to bind to here.
The interaction on file is for oral drugs and is theoretical, based on how charcoal behaves, not on real cases with testosterone shots. So I wouldn't lose sleep over this combo. If you ever switch to an oral testosterone or take other pills, just space them about two hours from the charcoal, and check with your pharmacist to be safe.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Testosterone Enanthate page
“Beer and wine both carry major ratings on this list, because heavy alcohol use can compound the strain testosterone enanthate (Xyosted) already places on the liver. That liver theme runs through 38 of the 184 ingredients on file, Siberian cocklebur among them, and with six interactions rated major overall, this page deserves genuine ca…”

About Coffee Charcoal
What is Coffee Charcoal?
- Diarrhea
- Inflammatory bowel conditions
- Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
- Mild digestive upset
- Wound and skin care (topical, traditional)
Coffee charcoal is made by roasting green coffee beans until they turn black, creating a charcoal-like material used traditionally for diarrhea and digestive complaints. Scientific evidence supporting its benefits is very limited, and it should not replace proven treatments. Talk with your pharmacist or doctor before using it, especially if you have a chronic gut condition.
About Testosterone Injection
What Is Testosterone Injection Used For?
Brand name: Xyosted
Testosterone injection is primarily used in men whose bodies do not produce enough testosterone on their own — a condition called hypogonadism. This includes primary hypogonadism (a problem with the testicles themselves, such as from injury, infection, or surgery) and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (caused by problems in the brain's hormone signaling from the hypothalamus or pituitary gland). It is also used to stimulate puberty in carefully selected adolescent males with clearly delayed puberty who have not responded to other support.
Testosterone Enanthate Injection is also approved for use in women with advanced, inoperable metastatic breast cancer (specifically skeletal metastases) who are one to five years past menopause, or in premenopausal women with hormone-responsive breast cancer who have had their ovaries removed. This use should be directed by an oncologist. Aveed (testosterone undecanoate) is specifically approved for male hypogonadism only.
