Here's the thing to keep an eye on with kinkeliba tea and your bosentan (Tracleer). Bosentan already works to relax and widen blood vessels in your lungs, and it can lower your blood pressure as part of how it does its job. Some research suggests Combretum micranthum may also nudge blood pressure down on its own. Put the two together and you could end up a little lower than expected.

In real life, that might show up as dizziness, lightheadedness, feeling faint when you stand up, or unusual tiredness. This is more of a theoretical concern based on limited evidence, so it's not a reason to panic. Still, before adding this tea, it's worth a quick chat with your pharmacist or doctor, especially if you already notice low readings or get dizzy easily.

What Is Bosentan Used For?

Brand name: Tracleer

Bosentan is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) — high blood pressure in the arteries of the lungs. In adults, it helps improve the ability to exercise and slows how quickly the disease gets worse.

In children aged 3 years and older with idiopathic (no known cause) or congenital (present from birth) PAH, bosentan is used to lower resistance in the lung blood vessels, which is expected to improve exercise ability. Tracleer is one brand approved for both adults and pediatric patients with PAH.
