Here's the simple version: kinkeliba tea may have its own mild blood-sugar-lowering effect. Insulin glargine (Toujeo) is your long-acting background insulin, so it's already steadily pulling your sugar down all day and night. Stack the two together and you could end up lower than you bargained for. That means watching for hypoglycemia signs like shakiness, sweating, a fast heartbeat, dizziness, confusion, or feeling suddenly hungry.

To be fair, the evidence here is thin and partly theoretical, coming from small studies and animal research. So I'm not saying you'll crash. But because insulin is one of those medicines where even small swings matter, please loop in your doctor or pharmacist before adding this tea, and keep checking your sugars closely if you do.
