Infliximab-Qbtx falls under HEPATOTOXIC DRUGS — the group Comfrey interacts with.

Theoretically, comfrey might have additive adverse effects on the liver when used with hepatotoxic drugs.
Due to its pyrrolizidine alkaloid constituents, comfrey can cause hepatotoxic effects, including ascites, cirrhosis, hepatic fibrosis, hepatomegaly, and sinusoidal obstruction syndrome.

Here's the simple version: comfrey isn't really fighting with your Ixifi (infliximab-qbtx) directly. The concern is that both can be hard on the same organ, your liver. Comfrey contains pyrrolizidine alkaloids, which can damage the liver when taken by mouth. Infliximab can also occasionally raise liver enzymes or, rarely, cause more serious liver problems. Stacking two liver stressors is the worry here.

To be clear, this is a theoretical concern based on how each one behaves, not a documented case of the two together. Still, since you're already on an infusion medicine that your team monitors, I'd skip oral comfrey entirely. Short-term use on unbroken skin is the only traditional route. Please run it past your doctor or pharmacist first.

Comfrey is a traditional herb used mainly on the skin for bruises, sprains, and joint pain, and some topical products show modest benefit for these uses.
