Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS
Why this applies to Adalimumab-Atto
Adalimumab-Atto falls under IMMUNOSUPPRESSANTS — the group Cordyceps interacts with.
Animal and in vitro research suggests that cordyceps stimulates the immune system. However, limited clinical research suggests that taking cordyceps may lower the necessary therapeutic dose of the immunosuppressant cyclosporine, which suggests that cordyceps may have an immunosuppressive effect.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Amjevita (adalimumab-atto) is a biologic that calms an overactive immune system, which is why it helps with conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and Crohn's disease. The concern with cordyceps is that some lab and animal studies hint it might stimulate the immune system. If that happened, it could theoretically work against what your Amjevita is trying to do and make your symptoms harder to control. To muddy the waters, other limited human data suggest cordyceps might actually act immune-suppressing, so the science is genuinely mixed.
Honestly, this is a theoretical, low-certainty interaction, not something with strong proof. Still, since you depend on Amjevita to keep your disease quiet, I'd run any cordyceps supplement past your rheumatologist or pharmacist before starting it.

From our pharmacist’s overview on the Adalimumab-Atto page
“Echinacea is the one I would check for first, since so many people reach for it at the first sniffle of a cold. Adalimumab-Atto (Amjevita) treats conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, psoriasis, and Crohn's disease by quieting an overactive immune system, and echinacea does the opposite, revving immune activity in a way that could blun…”

About Cordyceps
What is Cordyceps?
- Fatigue and low energy
- Athletic performance and stamina
- Respiratory and lung support
- Immune support
- Kidney health support
- General wellness/anti-aging
Cordyceps is a fungus used in traditional Chinese medicine for energy, exercise performance, and lung and immune support. Human research is limited and mostly low quality, so its benefits are not well proven. It appears generally well tolerated in the short term, but quality varies and it should be avoided in pregnancy and breastfeeding due to lack of safety data.
