Alogliptin, Metformin falls under ANTIDIABETES DRUGS — the group Eucalyptus interacts with.

Here's the gist: Kazano combines two diabetes medicines (alogliptin and metformin) that work to lower your blood sugar. Some animal studies hint that eucalyptus leaf might also nudge blood sugar downward. Put them together, and in theory the effects could stack up, leaving your sugar a little lower than expected.

I want to be honest about how shaky this evidence is. It comes from lab and animal research only, not from people, so it's more of a 'keep an eye out' than a real alarm. If you do use concentrated eucalyptus products, just watch for signs of low blood sugar like shakiness, sweating, dizziness, or confusion. Sniffing a vapor rub for congestion is very unlikely to matter. Check with your pharmacist or doctor before swallowing any eucalyptus supplement.
