Here is the interaction we found between these two, with the evidence behind it.
CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES
Why this applies to Acetaminophen, Caffeine, Isometheptene
Acetaminophen, Caffeine, Isometheptene falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group False Unicorn interacts with.
Interaction has been documented in animal or in lab research, or the interaction has been documented in humans but is limited to case reports or conflicting clinical research exists.
Here's the simple version. In a lab dish, False Unicorn appears to slow down a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Some of what your body does with caffeine and isometheptene (two of the three ingredients in Migralam) runs partly through this same enzyme. If that enzyme is slowed, these ingredients could clear a little more slowly and build up. In real terms, that might mean more of caffeine's jittery effects, a faster heartbeat, trouble sleeping, or feeling restless. The acetaminophen part isn't really the concern here.
I want to be honest about the strength of this: it's based only on test-tube data, not on people, so it's theoretical. For most folks it likely won't cause trouble, but if you take Migralam often or notice extra jitters, check with your pharmacist or doctor first.
