Your Inderide combines two blood pressure medicines: hydrochlorothiazide (a water pill) and propranolol (a beta blocker). The interaction we have on file is with the propranolol part. A small human study found that guggul can lower how much propranolol your body actually absorbs, which means less of it reaches your bloodstream.

In plain terms, guggul may make propranolol work less well. If that happens, you might notice your blood pressure or heart rate creeping back up, or, if you take it for tremor or migraines, those symptoms returning. The water pill side isn't the concern here. This is a probable interaction based on real but limited data, so please don't change anything on your own. Just check with your pharmacist or doctor before adding guggul.
