Lemborexant falls under CYTOCHROME P450 3A4 (CYP3A4) SUBSTRATES — the group Guggul interacts with.

Theoretically, guggul might reduce the effects of CYP3A4 substrates.
In vitro research shows that guggul constituents known as guggulsterones can induce CYP3A4.

Here's the gist for your sleep aid. Lemborexant (Dayvigo) is cleared from your body by a liver enzyme called CYP3A4. Lab and animal studies hint that guggul (specifically its guggulsterone compounds) may speed that enzyme up. If it does, your body could break down lemborexant faster than usual, which might leave less of it working and make it less effective at helping you fall or stay asleep.

Keep in mind this is theoretical and based only on test-tube and animal research, not human studies, so it may not pan out in real life. Still, if you take Dayvigo and want to try guggul, check with your pharmacist or doctor first rather than adjusting anything on your own.
